The students will engage in hands-on art activities while learning about the universe. They will use sustainable art supplies such a recyclable materials, paint, molding clay and so much more to creatively showcase the topics that will be explored. Topics may include: Can stars turn into planets? What happens if a space ship runs out of fuel? What is the color of the sun? What keeps space empty? Students will focus on the fundamentals of science through hands-on/minds-on activities and experiments.The goal of this class is to emphasize the process of science and how it applies to everyday life. During our hands-on/minds-on classes, students will develop an understanding of scientific principles, build vocabulary, work together with other scientist and engage in scientific discussions. Every facet of science will be explored in this class, from bridge building to mini experiments.
