Students will learn how to be present and work on intention and storytelling as well as improv, ensemble acting and scripted acting. Children will also receive vocal lessons in this class which will focus on vocal strength, flexibly and styles. The children will act out several short stories and plays each week as they hone their craft and bill on strengths.

Students will work on hands-on activities including drawing techniques –  depth, dimension and shapes. Other art projects will include self-projects, portraits, still life and landscapes. The children will also explore crafts like clay, jewelry making, sewing and more.

Our classes are taught in a fun, non-competitive environment.  Children learn and focus on goal setting, self – esteem, respect and discipline. Classes are designed to learn new skills, have fun, and become knowledgeable not only in self-defense, but in the lessons of life. This class is for children who have been taking MA.

    Math doesn’t have to be boring or difficult. In fact, learning about recreational math can not only enhance your child's creative thinking but it can be exciting and useful in daily life.  During this course students will be challenged to use their brain and have fun while learning about the math of various entertaining subjects such as magic squares, puzzles and games and more. They will also learn about famous recreational mathematicians.

Using interactive demonstrations, crafts and games, kids learn how to take care of a pet and use instruments that real veterinarians use. Each student will take home their own stuffed animal dog that they will adopt along with tape measures, dog journal, dog bone cookie cutter and so much more! Please note that we use plush play animals for this class (Dogs & Cats)  - NOT REAL ANIMALS.

Fall 2021 - Fridays Sept - 17, 24 Oct - 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 Nov - 5, 12, 19 Dec - 3, 10, 17 Jan - 7, 14, 21, 28 All Grades Please join us as we introduce our advanced Mandarin speakers to really show off and improve their language skills. Classes will be conducted in 100% Mandarin and will focus on perfecting grammar, storytelling, and writing. We will be basing the class on the textbook series 每周话语 which we have adapted to fit an enrichment program. Students and parents will be provided with audio files, worksheets, games and more to continue learning at home.
  • Have you ever wanted to make your own movie? In this class, you will record and edit your very own movies. Using iMovie, we will learn how to edit movies using transitions, music, special effects, video and photo, plus much more. From storyboard to finished movie, all aspects of the film making process will be covered. Students will end this class with a solid understanding of video editing and the ability to create any number of movies and video presentations. Mac, iPhone or iPad required.
  • 3D printing is a process for making a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model by laying down many successive thin layers of material. It brings a digital object into its physical form by adding layer by layer of materials. In this class, we will use the design program ‘Tinkercad’ to create digital models that we can then print using a 3D printer. Following a design process, students will imagine, plan, and create 3D models out of plastic filament.

    Learning to code at any age is beneficial to students. Similar to learning another language, early exposure can help a child pick it up with confidence and ease With coding, the earlier children learn coding fundamentals - they can apply it to any programming language they study over time.
    This class provides a fun and engaging way for young children to learn and apply key coding concepts. During the class, they will program their own interactive games, stories, and animation. Kids have a blast solving problems, designing projects and creatively expressing themselves.
     NOTE: Parental assistance may be required.
