Financial literacy is a must-have for today’s world – and it starts here! Join our fun, hand-on club where you’ll learn how to manage money like a pro through games, virtual money challenges, and real-life scenarios. Students will pick up important skills like budgeting, saving, understanding income vs. expenses, and even how to start investing – all in a safe, low-risk space. From day one, students will create their own savings plan and track their progress while exploring how investor make smart money moves in the stock market. They will get the hang of key ideas like profit and loss, needs vs. wants, and how banks work – all setting you up to make smart money choices for life. Ready to level up for money game? Join us and build a strong financial foundation that’s both fun and powerful!
Fee Transparency
For transparency, Aurora Skills has elected to provide a breakdown of class/program fees to show the split between the program base cost and the PS6 School administrative costs. The administrative cost is not a new cost; it has always been there baked into the overall program cost. We are now happy share with our community the breakdown in the interest of transparency.
Program base cost
The base cost for the Senior Bulls & Bears Club is $885 per student per semester.
PS6 Afterschool administrative fee
PS6 Afterschool programs also require access to the PS6 building, facilities, security, and custodianship; nursing coverage until 4PM; and ongoing facilitation and coordination across functions easily seen (like late pick-up on days when you need it) and back-office, no-spotlight work (like paying out city permits).
PS6 Afterschool Administrative fee (includes nursing, permits, and coordination is – $142 per child per semester.
In view of the above, the total cost per child per semester is:
(a) Senior Bulls & Bears Club base cost – $885.00
(b) PS6 Administrative fee – $142.00
Total – $1,027.00
Refund Policy
Aurora Skills may issue pro-rated refunds upon request, minus the cost of any classes that took place before the refund request. Final day to drop a class and receive a pro-rated refund is 2/14/26.
Refunds will incur deductions for the cost of the classes that occurred prior to the request, plus a 4% bank processing fee of the total amount for the class in which the refund was requested.
